  1. What I enjoyed most about the story was that it was like a fantasy but a real time period. What made it like a fantasy was the way it ended. Alyce went back to the midwife and doesn't give up. It is like a happy ending in a fantasy book.
What I didn't like about the book was that Alyce didn't find her real parents, and another thing I didn't like was that we never find out if the midwife even likes Alyce or even cares for her.
Well the story ended very happily and like i said in the beginning was that it had a fantasy kind of ending. That's what I love most about books.
The thing I wanted most is for Alyce to find her real parents or at least to take Jennet with her to the Midwifes house.

  2. What I thought about the book was, that was adventures, nice, wondrous, and so much more. Even though Alyce may have struggled sometimes she really did pull through at the end for the midwife and showed she had it all now. I really liked the character Edward he wasn't afraid to let himself through and show everyone that he is not a runt anymore. Alyce the main character did struggle at most put and it was sometime scary, sad ,or really cool. She has shown me that even if you are small, frail, or even frightful you can pull together close your eyes and dream of a place you would rather be and then open them and think of the place.I didn't like Jane that much because she was rude to everyone and did not think her actions through. That is what I think of the book!

  5. What I thought about the book was that it was a really, really good book. It amazes me how the author gets so much information. She got so much information that it was like she was a midwife. I also liked how she made all the characters different. Not one of them is the same. From how much info she had, It was like she had an ancestor that was a midwife. That is what I liked about The Midwife's Apprentice.
