Question 1:
What do you think of Brat's life? Is it an easy life or a hard life? Do you think her life will get better moving in with "mistress"?
After reading chapters 1-2 I think Brat has had a very difficult life. She has raised herself with no love and support from anyone. In addition, she has found herself bullied for circumstances beyond her control. I feel really bad for Brat! I do think her life will improve by moving in with the mistress. Even though the mistress is not generous with food I think it will serve Brat well to have someone in her life, even if she is hard on her at times, Brat will rise to the occasion.

DeleteI don’t think Brat’s life is easy, because she has to work before she can have snack of breakfast,lunch or supper (dinner). Also is she has the boy’s teasing her, pinching, and taunting her and being rude. I think her life won't get better because the mistress is making her work for food and the boy’s are being mean to her and the cat . Also she only get’s bread, cheese, or a little bit of both, She not really getting the food she need’s to grow healthy, strong, and and be healthy over all,because the mistress won’t give her these food’s she need’s to be healthy and more. Moving on with the mistress is not going to be easy,nice, or wealth and her life isn’t easy this is what I think.
ReplyDeleteI think Brat’s life is very hard because she has to go town to town looking for places to eat and sleep, she even gets shooed away with brooms and angry mobs! But now that she moved in with the midwife, I think her life is getting better because she is getting food, a home, and work to be rewarded for, she even made friends with a cat.

ReplyDeletewife. I think that because she is sort of poor. I also think she she is glad that Kate is going to have a baby so there will be another human being in the world. That is what I have been thinking about when I have been reading.
